Implications of the New Angel Centre

If the new Leisure Centre is built as presented in the planning application it will have major implications for Tonbridge u3a.

There are many concerns but the major issue is arround the space they propose for us to hold our monthly meetings.

The design has been changed in the light of the many comments received during the consultation in February but we still need to lodge as many objections as possible.

A member of the committee, Penny Davies, has produced a submission that extensively covers many of our concerns, it is currently being updated and will be made available as soon as possible.

Please submit your comments / objections to the council during the 21 day consultation period that started on Thursday 26 March and will end on Thursday 16 April 2026.
