Celebrating 25 Years as a vibrant part of the Tonbridge community
Group: Industrial and Engineering History
Meets: Fourth Monday at 2pm
Venue: Hall in Tonbridge
Details:
The Group is for people interested in our industrial and engineering past and what we can learn from personal experience, general interest, research, literature, and what can still be seen and understood of it in the world around us.
Meetings are either illustrated talks by group members, external speakers and occasionally a DVD. We are interested in all branches and aspects of industry, from agriculture to transport, manufacturing to mining.
Members are expected to make a contribution to the costs of room hire.
Talks are held on the fourth Monday of each month in the URC Church in Tonbridge High Street (next to Boots) at 2 pm.
