Group: Cribbage
Meets: Second Wednesday of the month, 2 - 4 pm
Venue: Central Tonbridge
Details:
Cribbage was said to be invented in the early 1600's (1630) by Sir John Suckling, an English poet. The game is traditionally played by two, three or four players on a crib board. The winner is the first person/pair to score 121 points. Points are scored for card combinations adding up to 15 or 31 and for pairs, triples, quadruples, runs, flushes and the last card. The game is played all over the world and some people say it is Britain's National Card Game. Don't worry if you are a beginner as tuition will be all part of the group.
