Tonbridge u3a 25th Anniversary Lunch

We are very pleased to be celebrating Tonbridge u3a’s 25th Anniversary this year. Some of you may even remember when we first started in 2000! To mark the occasion, we will be having a celebratory lunch at Salomon’s Estate in Tunbridge Wells – a stunning Victorian mansion 2 miles away from Tunbridge Wells.

The lunch will be subsidised by Tonbridge u3a, and the cost will be £30 per person to include a glass of prosecco or soft drink on arrival.

We are aware that some of you may not have transport, particularly as there are no bus routes close by. We will lay on transport for those that need it and will send details closer to the time. You will see that we are also asking for volunteers if anyone has spare space in their car and would be willing to give a lift to someone who needs it.

As well as enjoying the lunch we thought it would be nice to reminisce about u3a events over the 25 years and we are hoping that a few of you might tell us all why Tonbridge u3a is important to you and any interesting stories that you can tell us. 

We would also like to collect any photographs, poems and interesting stories from the past 25 years (whether you are able to attend or not). If you have anything that you think might be of interest, please contact support@tonbridgeu3a.uk .
