WALLONIA (Southern Belgium)

Sunday 11 JUNE TO 18 JUNE 2023

Our holiday for 2023 will be eight days exploring the Southern Region of Belgium called Wallonia. We will have a Premiere Travel coach which will pick us up in Tonbridge and will be with us for the whole holiday. We will stay at a hotel on the outskirts of Namur on a half board basis.

The holiday will include visits to Annevoie, Maredsous Abbey, Dinant and its Citadel. We will spend time in Durbuy, a small city famed for its food and Topiary Garden. We cannot go to Wallonia without a visit to Waterloo and Liege. There will also be a boat trip with a visit to the UNESCO listed Hydraulic Boat Lift at the Historic Canal du Centre. On our way home we will stop in Lille for a visit to Museum of Arts and Antiquities.
